Here are 3 Reasons Why More and More People on the Internet are Becoming Racist

Racist is a word or word that is often spoken by people to someone who always demonizes a race/belief/tribe/religion of another person, you could say racist is a term for people who do not respect differences and seem to attack the ethnicity/race/culture/religion of that person.

Well these racist people you can find on the internet precisely on social media, they will be in the posts/contents of people who discuss certain religions, or things that will lead and drag to a religion, so of course you can see these racist people will definitely be seen.

So on this occasion I will give some opinions or my point of view on why people can be racist, well what are the causes? let's discuss together below :

1. Dislikes People who are Fanatical About a Race/Tribe/Culture/Religion/Belief Shared on Social Media

Fanatics are fine like making memes or being overproud of your tribe/culture/belief and even religion, but of course we are talking about the internet.

The internet is a very, very large place, you can surf or browse and whatever you are looking for you will find in the depths of the internet, well of course social media is part of the internet itself.

Whether it's social media that we often use such as twitter (now X), facebook, instagram, tiktok, kaskus or reddit, all of them are part of the internet and of course we need an internet connection to access them.

So as long as you share it on the internet, other people who are outside the frequency of your tribe/culture/belief and even religion will start to see the activities you do and attack you with words that lower the dignity of your identity.

That's because they really dislike people who are bigoted with an identity, they really hate people connecting anything with belief, race, ethnicity, culture and even religion into a content or small talk.

That's why they can be racist, saying on the internet that a certain race/tribe/religion/belief is ugly and corrupted, of course from this it can make a bad image of your race/tribe/culture/belief and even religion.

2. Their Tribe/Culture/Beliefs And Religion Are Blasphemed/Defamed

When your tribe/culture/belief or even religion is mocked, of course you will reply to the mockery by mocking their tribe/culture/belief or even religion? You wouldn't mock the person, because I am 100% sure that as long as they are different from you then you will mock their identity just like they do to you.

Now this is what makes people on the internet hate each other, not because of you but because someone who initially mocked because they didn't accept it then the person who didn't accept it mocked back.
Now these taunts will continue to be thrown even though not at the right person, aka people who do not take part in the negative activities of mocking each other.

And of course there can be people who do not interfere and then see their tribe/culture/belief and even religion blasphemed and dropped openly in the comments column, of course they will also blaspheme and drop their identity again, the effect will be like a circle of samsara (an unbroken circle) that has no end.

3. Always Connecting Things With Certain Tribes/Cultures/Beliefs And Religions

Tribe/Culture/Belief and even Religion are not just one, of course people who hear one identity and connect it with a certain identity on scientific information spread through social media such as Facebook will even be infuriated by people who read the comment box.

Imagine, they want to get a new learning from the comment box, hoping that there is someone with higher literacy who can explain the content that the uploader presents further, the fact is that they instead see comments that drag into identity issues and connect them as if it is a channel of a particular identity.

Now this is what makes netizens angry and divided into dozens of camps, The effect is of course hatred and mutual blasphemy of an identity.

And in the end, the knowledge that has been given by the uploader becomes meaningless for people who want to seek this knowledge because the energy they spend through these comments runs out first.

Conclusion

Well so maybe that's the 3 reasons why more and more people on the internet, these days are more racist than in the past, this is because of the large and massive social media and indeed a lot of people who are technologically literate but not accompanied by a smart brain, making most of them able to access the internet and even social media easily.
